Annette - no one posts on a regular basis on blogs except you and me, lol!

Anyway- here's MY update, just prior to birthday #7.

Hannah is having a "Bindi, The Jungle Girl" party (it was between that, Littlest Pet Shop, Hello Kitty, or Tinkerbell AGAIN - and I nixed that one, didn't want it 3 years in a row, lol). She's going to let me put her hair up in pigtails THIS ONE TIME. With her coloring, she looks a lot like Bindi...if she had her other front tooth, she'd be much closer, lol!

She's lost 6 teeth, with 2 more loose. She has her two bottom front grown in, one top front (half way in) and one bottom left coming in. Still gappy on the other 2 teeth...but the other top front REALLY wants to come out, it's just a bit shy, lol!

She's reading a bit more, but hates to admit it. Just got her 2nd quarter report and it was really good. Either the same or improved in ALL areas, which I really like to see.

Scotty's still a little monster. Crazy kid. Has AMAZING musical talent. Can sing in key, keeps GREAT rhythm....he's going to be the musician, that's for sure.

That is all (well, there's probably a ton more, but I don't feel like typing more!)

Just wanted to send a quick "Happy Holidays" to all my Mommy friends. Hope the holiday season brings you much happiness and joy.

making great strides....

We haven't been able to coax Scotty into potty training...at least not until recently. He has, on occasion, woken with a dry diaper. And we were so thrilled when he did so on Saturday! So daddy took him to the potty, and YIPPEE! It WORKED. He was absolutely thrilled with himself! We tried a few more times during the day with no luck...he would either say "dey is no peepee" or he would go RIGHT AFTER we put a fresh diaper on him. I am not into buying pull-ups just yet, since I do not want to blow through them...better when he's a bit more used to it all...

And he also tried again in the evening. He'd just given me the "no peepee" speech when out came a drip...and another and it happened AGAIN! He's loving the mini m&m's he is getting for a reward...now we just need consistency....sigh. That means work for me again...but the sooner he's trained, the better!!!

I just had to share with you all!!! Linda called me up this morning and told me that I had won a spot on her design team at In My Mind's Eye!!! I am sooo very excited!! I have been a guest designer on different sites but this is my first long-term appointment....

Thanks, Linda for calling to my attention the design team search and I can't wait to work with you!!
